Abstract
Eragrostris shrirangii(Poaceae), a new species from the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, India, is described and illustrated. A morphological comparison ofE. shrirangiiand the closely related speciesE. henryiandE. minoris provided. In addition, habitat details, a distribution map and the conservation status of the new species are given.
