Abstract

Objectives: In paediatrics, bronchoscopy is often used in patients-with-cystic-fibrosis (PWCF) for microbiological assessment. In adults this has not been routinely necessary. Our local experience suggested that recently adult PWCF were undergoing more frequent bronchoscopies. We sought to characterise this for adult PWCF attending Cork University Hospital over the last 10 years and examine any changes.
