Abstract
Anti-NMDA receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis presents commonly with cognitive and psychiatric symptoms, but also movement disorders are reported. Cerebellar ataxia has been described in young children, but it is uncommon in adults. Among paroxysmal movement disorders, dyskinesias are reported. Episodic ataxia is extremely rare and never reported as a presenting symptom.
