This paper examines the environmental strategies and measures for redevelopment in Sha Tin District, focusing on the historical ecological balance, the impact of urbanization, and recommendations for sustainable redevelopment. It emphasizes the importance of conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), considering socio-economic factors, utilizing bioindicator organisms like tilapia for monitoring, and integrating chemical analysis for decision-making. The goal is to achieve sustainable cities and communities by promoting inclusive planning, economic diversity, environmental conservation, and resilience to natural disasters.
