Abstract
The main peculiarities of environmental psychology as a specific research domain of psychology are outlined. The basic historical and conceptual backgrounds and the main research areas with related outcomes, of current environmental psychology are briefly reviewed. Finally, same perspectives on the future developments of environmental psychology are discussed.
