Abstract
The article reviews the environmental impacts of product lifecycles, emphasizing sustainable practices and responsible consumption. It examines the effects of conventional manufacturing and explores green initiatives, using a gravure printing press case study. Through a mixed-methods approach, the study analyzes phases from raw material extraction to disposal, revealing significant impacts like energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Findings indicate that adopting green manufacturing practices—such as energy-efficient technologies and sustainable sourcing—can substantially mitigate these effects. The research provides insights for enhancing environmental performance and operational efficiency within the printing industry and beyond.
