Abstract

This paper discusses design considerations to be employed for control technologies which can minimize environmental damage and maximize operability in thermochemical conversion of biomass. Particulate and tar concentrations from both gasification and combustion technologies are examined. Applicable cleaning technologies and practical implementation of these technologies are discussed.
