It summarizes site assessment; hydrogeology; historical considerations and land-use practices; fate, partitioning, and transport of pollutants; industrial hygiene, health, and safety; security, emergency plans, and incident response procedures; fundamentals of epidemiology and toxicology; exposure assessment and risk characterization; radiation protection (health physics); vector control and sanitation, including biohazards; noise pollution; and indoor air quality.
