Abstract

The reason for choosing this research is the lack of a wastewater treatment plant in the city of Al-Musayyib, and since sanitation services are among the foundations of modern cities, the lack of a wastewater treatment plant constitutes an environmental and health disaster for that city, and that the process of choosing the size and location of the treatment plant It needs to focus on the environmental aspect, and here it is necessary to conduct an environmental assessment in accordance with the environmental standards adopted in the spatial signature process for urban land uses in general and sewage and wastewater treatment plants in particular. And because the city of Al-Musayyab is a large city with an estimated population of 60,877 people, it does not contain a sewage network or a waste treatment plant, but there is only a network to drain rain water, which is also inefficient and does not meet the city’s need. The percentage of providing sewage service in the city has reached (0 As for the rainwater drainage network, its percentage reached (70%).
