Abstract

Scientists have been fascinated by the spider's spinning process, which enables its silk to be incredibly strong. This paper explores the use of a long needle in the electrospinning process to control the inner structure of a PVDF nanofiber. The results show that a longer needle can significantly enhance the nanofiber's piezoelectric performance. The mechanism behind this enhancement is elucidated using the laminar flow theory.
