The evaluation of the efficiency of the method of enhanced external counterpulsation was carried out using «screening topical prenosological express diagnostics» and an individual questionnaire. Results. As the results showed, the use of the method of enhanced external counterpulsation as the main and/or additional means of intensive physical rehabilitation is effective at all stages of an athlete’s professional life. It is recommended to use general training (jogging for 15–20 minutes) the next day after the session to restore the lost muscle tone. Conclusion. The versatility of the impact of this method of rehabilitation requires a deeper study and subsequent implementation in the practice of a sports doctor.
