Energy Management Strategies of Hybrid Power System Under Varying Load Conditions- An Analysis

Abstract

Traditional energy sources are being depleted day by day therefore generating electricity through conventional sources is becoming more expensive. The world moves towards renewable energy (RE) sources, their impact is becoming more and more important like less cost, abundant availability in nature, minimum losses. Due to abnormal weather conditions & fault in transmission line the supply of electricity is interrupted. Under this condition, the main challenge is to ensure reliable energy supply and this can only be done by the use of RE source. But the main problem for the generation of electricity through RE sources is that the load requirement cannot be fulfilled by the use of only one RE sources like solar, wind or hydro because the availability of these sources affected by the weather condition. The load requirement can only be fulfilled by using hybrid energy sources. The manuscript deals with energy management strategy for the educational institute under varying loading conditions. This paper mainly focuses on the configuration and analysis of hybrid energy system using energy management strategy.
