Abstract

Energy access and the role of power electronics in it was a new topic at the 10th IEEE Future of Electronic Power Processing and Conversion (FEPPCON X) workshop in Tromso, Norway. The session was chaired by Prof. Deepak Divan of the Georgia Institute of Technology, and speakers Matt Jordan, Pedro Rodriguez, Jinjun Liu, and Jelena Popovic gave their perspectives on the power electronics-related and broader aspects of energy access, kicking off a lively panel discussion.
