Abstract
In the first part of this article, the different roles of the adverbial locution en même temps are considered : namely that of the temporal indication of simultaneity, and that, more complex, of discursive marker, according to Vaguer (2017) and Drouet and Richard (2017). Next, a focus is proposed on the specific use made of this locution by French President, Emmanuel Macron, for whom en même temps has become a distinctive discursive trait.
