Abstract
In this article, the introduction of the critical edition of the Maqālāt, in which we learn about Seyyid Harun, the founder of a city, who made Seydisehir flourish with the spiritual news he received while he was an emir in Khorasan, his journey and the story of founding the city, is presented. The present work is the first and only work in which the original texts and the latinised versions of three different copies are printed together. In addition, the text has been titled as a new attempt of reading and therefore interpretation. The work was written by Abdulkerim bin Sheikh Musa approximately 400 years after the death of Sayyid Harun. The text is important because it brings to the forefront the aspects of Turkish dervishes, who are called colonisers as a result of the Westernist approach in the literature, who actually brought the city to life with the quality of being the founder of the city.
