Abstract

Computer modeling is used to reproduce emission dynamics of (0-0) bands of the second positive and the first negative molecular nitrogen systems by a microdischarge channel in barrier discharge in atmospheric-pressure air. This gives a possibility to test the computational model and to evaluate the spectroscopic procedure of the electric field strength determination by the extended relative intensity technique. Computer modeling of the experimental procedure shows that averaging in space and time in experimental measurements may be the reason for the differences in the calculated and experimentally estimated values of E/N ; the last are considerably lower.
