Abstract

We have performed a systematic angle-resolved photoemission study of as-grown (AG) and oxygen-reduced Pr 2 - x Ce x CuO 4 and Pr 1 - x La x Ce x CuO 4 electron-doped cuprates. Our results indicate that the nodal region of the Fermi surface, which is suppressed in the AG samples, emerges in the reduced samples due to the suppression of the long-range antiferromagnetic order.
