Abstract

Electronic structure of amorphous metallic alloy FC 76 P 24 is calculated by using an atomic structural model and the atomic sphere approximation to the KKR method. Potential parameters are determined by superposing the charge density of neutral atoms. The strong hybridization with Fe–3d and P–3p band is observed and the electron energy stability is attributed to the charge transfer and the hybridization.
