Abstract

Electronic states of multilayered cuprates are studied by the t–t′–t″–J model in the mean-field theory. The Gutzwiller approximation is introduced to include the renormalization of interlayer hopping, t⊥. We find the inhomogeneous t⊥’s due to a charge distribution among the CuO2 layers in a unit cell. The Fermi surface (FS) splits in the nodal direction, while in the antinodal direction, a small value of t⊥ between inner layers makes four separated FS’s into two degenerated FS’s.
