Abstract
The electron temperature in the F-region has been deduced from the derived F-region component of absorption of cosmic radio noise at 25 MHz in high sunspot year (1957–1958) and 21·3 MHz in low sunspot year (1964–1965). It is shown that the diurnal and seasonal variation of electron temperature obtained from the present analysis are in good agreement with in situ measurement of electron temperature by satellites.
