Abstract
AbstractEPR of Er3+ ions in polycrystalline ThH2 and Th4H15 is studied and the possibility of the Kondo effect in ThH2 is discussed. In Th4H15 electron bottleneck is observed. The lineshape calculation is made for a metallic system in the case of an axial crystalline field. It is shown that in the point charge approximation a proton model is realized in Th4H15.
