Abstract

MXene-based materials that effectively deal with harmful electromagnetic waves are attracting more and more attention. In this paper, MXene hydrogels with good properties were prepared using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyacrylic acid (PAA) to construct a three-dimensional framework for hydrogels, and then adding homemade MXene materials to take advantage of their excellent properties, which resulted in the formation of an electrically conductive framework. The study shows that MXene-10 has a tensile strength of 0.29 MPa and an electrical conductivity of 156.24 S/mm. In addition, electromagnetic shielding (EMI) of 33.6 dB can be achieved when the MXene hydrogel is only 2 mm.
