Abstract

In the previous paper (1), the electroencephalographic (EEG) technique has been shown to be useful in rat for detecting the development of morphine tolerance in terms of shortning of the duration of the slow wave produced by morphine. Moreover, the spike formation localized in the hippocampus in morphine-addict rat was observed during severe abstinence syndrome produced by nalorphine.
