Abstract

Electrochemical sodium insertion in the low‐temperature spinel oxide is investigated. Chronopotentiometric measurements show one single‐reduction process located at with a faradaic yield of of oxide for a cut‐ off voltage. During cycling experiments performed at discharge‐charge rates of , a practical specific capacity of was obtained after the fifth cycle. ©1999 The Electrochemical Society
