Abstract
The 4 mm insulated terminal which can be used with bare wire connections as well as 4 mm plugs is expensive (15p) and rather bulky. For certain uses two alternatives are worth considering: miniature crocodile clips (3.3p) and single sockets (1.6p) cut from a socket strip intended for use with integrated circuits (ICs).
