Abstract

BaFe12O19/Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 (BaM/BST) composites were synthesized via the conventional solid-state reaction method. The phase composition and surface morphology of the composites were investigated by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), respectively. The electrical and magnetic properties of the composites were also studied. The results show that the BaM/BST composites have giant dielectric constants and very high remnant magnetizations. The giant dielectric behavior of the BaM/BST composites is mainly attributed to the Maxwell–Wagner polarization.
