Abstract

Following the Argentine army offensive aiming to expand the productive edge in the aborigine lands, regions called Territorios Nacionales emerged between the province and the «Desert». An improvised institucionalization process and the poor infrastructures of the State did not guarantee the life and property of those people that arrived to these lands attracted for the expected advantages of a socioeconomic growth. The case of the Territorio Nacional of La Pampa and the administration of minor justice in it are studied in this work. The later was one of the legal spaces that attempted to organize the law and order in a society having frontier features.
