Abstract

This article presents the analytical computation of full-wave partial elements modeling magnetic materials in the framework of the partial element equivalent circuit method. Assuming an orthogonal mesh, the free-space Green’s function is expanded in Taylor’s series. The resulting series expansion coefficients occurring in magnetic material modeling are computed analytically up to the second order. Extensive tests are performed confirming the accuracy of the proposed analytical solutions. As expected, significant speedups are observed with respect to the standard Gaussian integration.
