Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of closed needle-free infusion system in relievingpsychological pressure of nurses in department of infectious disease.Methods From May 2012 to May 2013,40 nurses in department of infectious disease were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,the observation group applied the closed needle-free infusion system,while the control group used the general transfusion devices.Based on the observation and evaluation of the anxiety state of nurses in two groups during the course of infusion therapy,nurses' occupation exposure and anxiety state were recorded and compared between the two groups.Results The occupation exposure in the observation group and the control group were 0 and 6 respectively,and the state anxiety of the control group was worse than that of the observation group,the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion With the application of closed needle-free infusion system,the psychological pressure of nurses in department of infectious disease could be significantly reduced so that nurses can provide better service for patients.
