Abstract

In a cold rotary forging press with double eccentricity bushings, the rotation speed ratio of double eccentricity bushings has significant effects on the rocking tool path. Thus, this study examines the effects of the rotation speed ratio of double eccentricity bushings on the rocking tool path of cold rotary forging presses. On the basis of kinematics relations, the motion equations of the rocking tool with double eccentricity bushings are obtained. The effects of the rotation speed ratio of double eccentricity bushings on the rocking tool path are studied by using the obtained motion equations.
