Abstract

This study explores the effects of TED talks on students' foreign language learning emotions. It aims to investigate how TED talks influence emotions experienced during foreign language learning and how these emotions affect language learning outcomes. The study consists of two experiments, utilizing different methods and designs. Experiment One focuses on examining the effects of TED talks on the emotional experiences of language learners, while Experiment Two investigates the relationship between these emotions and language learning outcomes. The findings from both experiments contribute to a better understanding of the role of TED talks in foreign language learning and shed light on the potential benefits of incorporating TED talks into language teaching.
