Abstract

Isolated wheat (Triticum aestivum var. Kalyan Sona) leaves obtained from plants raised under high and low soil fertility were subjected to quick and slow drying conditions avoiding temperature stress. The leaves of plants raised under high fertility display higher enzyme activity (Amylase, acid pyrophosphatase and ATPase) and large chlorophyll content as compared to the leaves of plants raised under low fertility.
