Abstract
Emission spectral analysis is based on the fact that there is a simple proportional relationship between the contents of the atoms in the gas phase and in the electrode when a discharge acts on the latter: N/No = ~C/Co, where C is the content of a particular element in the sample, N is the content of the atoms from this in the discharge zone, Co is the content of an element in the base, No is the content of the atoms from this in the discharge zone, and ~ is a coefficient of proportionality.
