Abstract
Time course measurements of iron ore dust sedimentation rates in sea-water of different salinities have shown that dust particle settlements occur at similar rates in normal sea-water and in that diluted to 50%. With salinities similar to those in brackish water conditions the sedimentation rates were rapid compared with those in fresh water.
