Abstract
The effect of wall profiles of finite aperture wire-grid gratings in resonance domain was explored. Rigorous coupled wave analysis was adopted with a finite aperture grating expressed as Fourier components of infinite gratings. Increased wall slope reduced polarisation contrast and the resonance behaviour did not change significantly for various wall profiles.
