Abstract

Electrophysical properties of dispersions of carbon nanotubes in cyanobiphenyl-based nematic liquid crystals were studied under d.c. voltage (50 micron thick layers). The observed behavior was strongly sensitive to NT concentration. The obtained results are interpreted in terms of molecular models, and possible applications in electronic devices are discussed.
