Abstract

The aim of this study was to point out the effect of buckwheat on lipid metabolism enzymes of liver and protein of serum in high- fat diet rats.Fifty male Wistar rats were assigned randomly to the following groups: control diet,high- fat diet( HFD) and low, medium, high dosage BW group. The relevant index of livers and serum were detected after 30 days. The results showed that weight of HFD group were increased and activity of HL,LPL and LPS were decreased significantly than control diet group( p < 0.05). Compared with HFD group, the increasing weight of high BW group rats were decreased( p < 0.05),activity of LPL and LPS in medium and high dosage of BW group were increased significantly( p < 0.05),activity of HL were decreased. TP and ALB of serum in these groups had no significant difference( p < 0.05). BW and HL,LPS,LPL had positive correlation through correlation analysis,LPS had highly significant positive correlation with HL( p < 0.01),LPS had significant positive correlation with LPL and HL( p < 0.05).In conclusion,BW may regulate the activity of lipid metabolism enzymes by interference high fat diet.
