Abstract
In geriatric population problems of co-ordination are increasing due to age. It has been found that reaction time is increased as the age increases because of slower reaction time and worsen recognition of stimuli. It is not just simple mechanical factors like speed of nerve conduction, it may be the tendency of older people to be more careful and monitor their response more thoroughly. Frenkel exercise is used to improve coordination which in turn improves reaction time. Total 36 geriatric individuals participated in the study were examined for simple and choice reaction time. These participants were then given Frenkel's exercises for 2weeks daily for 30 mins after which post readings were taken of simple and choice reaction time. After analyzing the results by unpaired t test the p value<0.0001 and SD: -Pre 272.35, Post 245.66 for simple reaction time and p value<0.0200 and SD: -Pre 242.73, Post 227.17 for choice reaction time was recorded.
