Abstract
Abstract Date Presented 04/20/2023 Research to support the most effective orthosis for individuals with carpometacarpal (CMC) osteoarthritis is limited. Therefore, we conducted a systematic review to determine the most effective orthosis for improving pain, pinch, and grip. Pain, pinch, and grip are three factors that affect one’s participation in daily occupations. As the baby boomer population continues to age, and the life span continues to increase, the prevalence of CMC osteoarthritis will continue to rise.
