Abstract

A generalization of the technique for the analysis of the effect of the weighting-vector fluctuations on the statistical characteristics of narrowband adaptive antenna arrays to the case of reception of wideband signals is presented. This technique is applied to the analysis of the output signal power of wideband antenna arrays. It is shown that consideration for the wideband properties results in the appearance of logarithmic factors of the correlation coefficient of input signals, which change the contribution of fluctuating terms into the output power and thus change the appearance conditions and the magnitude of the mismatch and overcompensation effects.
