Abstract

The precision of time measurements taken with the optical channel and electronic system of the HT-200 Baikal deep-water neutrino telescope has been determined. The effect of the signal amplitude on the generation of a time mark by the optical channel and electronic system has been investigated. The time mark is shifted by ∼4.3 ns when the signal amplitude varies from 1 to 300 photoelectrons. This effect is shown to be caused by the design features of the HT-200 neutrino telescope.
