Abstract
The problem of the losses of the components of cryolite-alumina melts during the electrolytic reduction of aluminum is discussed; it is closely related to the problems of resource-saving and an increase in the efficiency of electrolytic cells. The results of investigating the synthesized and standard industrial electrolyte samples are reported.
