Abstract
Appearance of a dc component (normal to the applied dc electric field) in the electric current induced in graphene by an elliptically polarized electromagnetic wave propagating normally to the sample plane is studied by a direct Monte Carlo numerical simulation. The dependence of the current on the frequency of the incident wave and the phase shift between its components is analyzed.
