Abstract

Objective: To identify the gaps in resident knowledge of inpatient diabetes management, education, and home insulin regimens. We postulate that identifying deficits and providing an intervention will lead to improvements in inpatient diabetic education, medical safety, and ensure successful transition to outpatient care.
