Abstract

Recently, an inhibitory role of dopamine (DA) and DA agonist on LH as well as prolactin (PRL) release has been demonstrated. Furthermore, it is reported that a lowering of LH and FSH plasma levels was induced according to a selective acceleration in DA turnover in the hypothalamus by oestradiol administration. In this study, we investigated the role of DA agonist on plasma LH, FSH and prolactin release following oestrogen treatment.
