The quality of students' compliance with Islamic boarding school regulations is closely related to moral decadence in the digital era. Students should be able to wisely manage between pleasure and regulations that must be fulfilled unconditionally. Therefore, the existence of social media detox regulations for students at the Annuqayah Lubtara Putri Islamic Boarding School is important to be studied further. This experimental research was conducted to test two main objectives, to test whether muhasabah therapy through inspirational stories is effective in increasing students' social media detox compliance, and to test whether there is a difference in scores between the experimental and control groups after the therapy process. The findings, first, the Paired Sample T-Test produced an output of 0.001 <0.05, so that the hypothesis that muhasabah therapy through inspirational stories can increase students' compliance is categorized as successful. Second, the level of significant Independent Sample t-Test, showed an output of 0.006 and 0.007 <0.05 so that the second hypothesis related to the effect of therapy was declared successful. Thus, muhasabah therapy using inspirational stories, has been proven to be able to improve the condition of respondents so that they can function more adaptively in everyday life.

Background. Disposal of non-sanitary wastewater in the rural area leads to the pollution of surface water, groundwater, and soil. It also creates unpleasant landscapes and a suitable environment for the growth and propagation of various types of insects and rodents. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of education based on the Health Belief Model (HBM) on the promotion of sanitary wastewater disposal behaviors of rural residents. Methods. This interventional study was conducted on 72 heads of rural households in Aq-Qala, Iran. Two similar villages in the area were selected and assigned to experimental and control group through simple random allocation. Then, 36 heads of the households were selected from each village. Data were collected before and after the intervention through a reliable and valid HBM questionnaire. Paired samples t-test, Wilcoxon, independent samples t-test and Mann-Whitney test were employed to analyze the data by SPSS version 17. Results. Before the intervention, there wasn’t significant difference between two groups in terms of knowledge, HBM constructs, behavior and demographic characteristics (P>0.05). After the intervention, the mean score of knowledge, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, and self-efficacy increased significantly and the mean score of perceived barriers decreased significantly in the experimental group (P<0.05). However, no significant difference was found in the mean score of behavior (P>0.05). Conclusion. The educational intervention was effective in promoting knowledge and HBM constructs, but it was not effective in the domain of behavior. As far as digging absorptive well is costly, so in addition to increasing the number of training sessions, inter-sectoral cooperation between village councils is recommended. Background Disposal of non-sanitary wastewater in the rural area leads to the pollution of surface water, groundwater, and soil. It also creates unpleasant landscapes and a suitable environment for the growth and propagation of various types of insects and rodents. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of education based on the Health Belief Model (HBM) on the promotion of sanitary wastewater disposal behaviors of rural residents in Aq-Qala. Methods This interventional study was conducted on 72 heads of rural households in Aq-Qala, Iran. Two villages were selected and assigned to experimental and control group through simple random allocation. Then, 36 heads of households were selected from each village. For the experimental group, the intervention consisted of holding three training sessions about sanitary wastewater disposal. The classes were held in the rural health house. Each training session lasted at least one hour. The trainings were conducted in the form of lectures followed by questioning and answering. No training classes were held for the control group. Data were collected before and after the intervention through a researcher structured questionnaire which was built based on HBM. The questionnaire consisted of 4 sections: demographic characteristics (6 question); knowledge (5 question); HBM constructs (35 questions) including: perceived susceptibility (5 questions), perceived severity (8 questions), perceived benefits (8 questions), perceived barriers (8 questions), self-efficacy (4 questions), and cues to action (2 questions); and behavior (3 questions). The questionnaires were completed through interviews by the trained people who knew the language of the participants. The data were analyzed through conducting paired t- test, Wilcoxon, independent t-test and Mann-Whitney test by the use of SPSS. 17. Results Mean age of the participants in the experimental group and control group was 40.4± 15.5 and 42.8± 14.1 years, respectively. In both groups 80.6% of participants were male. Rural health worker's opinion was important for 86% and 100% of people in the interventional and control group respectively. 75% of the participants in the experimental group and 100% of the participants in the control group had received information about the sanitary disposal of sewage from rural health workers. Before the intervention, no significant difference in the mean score of knowledge, HBM constructs, behavior and demographic characteristics was found between the two groups (P>0.05). After the intervention, the mean score of knowledge, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, and self-efficacy significantly increased and the mean score of perceived barriers significantly decreased in the experimental group (P<0.05), However, there was no significant difference in the mean score of behavior (P>0.05). Conclusion The results of the present study showed that designed education was successful in having a positive and significant effect on the knowledge and HBM constructs, but the intervention did not affect the domain of behavior in the experimental group. As far as digging absorptive well is costly, so in addition to increasing the number of training sessions, inter-sectoral cooperation between village councils is recommended. Practical Implications of Research Health education specialists as well as the health education unit of health care networks should pay attention to the fact that since digging absorptive well is costly, besides holding training sessions by health houses and health centers, inter-sectoral cooperation between village councils is an important factor in the issue of sanitary wastewater disposal in the villages. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Motivational Interviewing Matrix on reducing anger and increasing self-efficacy in male high school students. Method: This quasi-experimental study employed a pre-test-post-test control group design. The study sample consisted of 8 male 10th and 11th grade students, selected through convenience sampling and randomly assigned to two groups: experimental (n=4) and control (n=4). Participants were assessed using the Spielberger State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory-2 (STAXI-2) and the Morris Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (2001). The experimental group received 8 counseling sessions based on the Motivational Interviewing Matrix model, while the control group received no intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired samples t-test, and independent samples t-test. Results: The results indicated that the Motivational Interviewing Matrix significantly reduced anger and increased self-efficacy in the experimental group. The mean anger score in the experimental group decreased from 32.25 to 23.75, while no significant change was observed in the control group (31.50 in the pre-test to 30.75 in the post-test). Additionally, the mean self-efficacy score in the experimental group increased from 14.50 to 21.00, while the control group showed a slight change (14.25 in the pre-test to 14.75 in the post-test). The paired samples t-test revealed that these changes were significant in the experimental group (t anger = 6.28, P = 0.002; t self-efficacy = 7.11, p = 0.001). Furthermore, the independent samples t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (t anger = 3.96, p = 0.004; t self-efficacy = 4.55, p = 0.002). The effect size also indicated a strong and sustained impact of the intervention on the study variables (d anger = 2.10, d self-efficacy = 2.40). Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the Motivational Interviewing Matrix can be used as an effective tool in improving emotional regulation and enhancing self-efficacy in students. It is recommended that this model be implemented in school counseling and emotional management training programs.

A total of 66 students (n=33, experimental group participating in the Chinese Chess psychological counseling method training) and (n=33, control group not participating in the Chinese Chess psychological counseling method training) were selected from psychological schools for technical training of counselors. The experimental group underwent timely supervision based on the specific actual situation of counselors after intensive training. The General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), Maslach Burnout Inventory General Survey (MBI-GS), and Competency Research Scale were used to conduct pre-test, post-test, and follow-up measurement after half a year for both the experimental group and the control group. Independent sample t-tests were used to analyze the differences in various variables between the experimental group and the control group during the pretest, post-test, and follow-up measurement. Paired sample t-tests were used to analyze the changes in various variables between the experimental group and the control group during the pre-test, post-test, and follow-up measurement. What the results show are: (1) Independent sample t-tests showed that there were significant differences in general self-efficacy, job burnout and its sub-dimensions, and competency characteristics and its sub-dimensions between the experimental group and the control group before and after training, as well as after half a year. The experimental group scored significantly higher than the control group in general self-efficacy and competency and its sub-dimensions (p<0.001), while scoring significantly lower in job burnout and its sub-dimensions (p≤0.001). (2) Paired sample t-tests showed no significant differences in general self-efficacy, job burnout and its sub-dimensions, and competency and its sub-dimensions between the control group before and after the test (p>0.05), indicating that there were no statistically significant changes in the research variables of the control group during the pre-test and post-test periods. After half a year, there was no significant change in job burnout scores, while general self-efficacy, competency, and its sub-dimensions scores significantly decreased (p<0.05). (3) Paired sample t-tests showed significant differences in general self-efficacy, job burnout and its sub-dimensions, competency and its sub-dimensions between the experimental group before and after training (p<0.001). After half a year, job burnout scores significantly decreased (p<0.001), while general self-efficacy, competency, and its sub-dimensions scores significantly increased (p<0.001). Therefore, the Chinese Chess psychological counseling method has an enhancement effect on the professional competency of psychological counselors.

The use of online reading materials to improve students’ reading comprehension achievement is highly recommended. Online reading is separate from reading printed texts since it involved reading digital content such as e-books, e-dictionaries, web pages, and online education. As a result, the study's objectives were to look into the use of online reading resources to help pupils enhance their reading comprehension and to determine whether there is a substantial mean difference between pupils who had been instructed utilizing online materials for reading compared to those who were not. The quasi-experimental design was employed to evaluate the pretest and posttest results in the experimental and control groups. The 70 students were selected and put into two groups on purpose. There were 35 pupils in the experimental group and 35 students in the control group. In addition, pretest, posttest and students’ perception were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed using the SPSS v.25 program and the t-test (paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test). The paired sample t-test result in the experimental group is 9,420> t-table (df=34) is 1.690 at 0.05 The significance threshold was 0.000 0.05, and the sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 0.05. It was reasonable to establish that students' reading comprehension achievement improved significantly after being taught utilizing online reading materials at SMP Tri Dharma Palembang. Furthermore, the independent sample t-test result The resulting t-value is 20.075> t-table (df=68) is 1.667 at the significant threshold of 0.05 and sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 0.05. It signifies that there was a statistically significant difference in mean comparing the experimental and control groups. The findings demonstrated that Online reading materials were useful in boosting students' reading comprehension achievement at SMP Tri Dharma Palembang in the academic year 2022/2023.
