The BiodiverCities initiative, which is a roadmap for sustainable city development that shifts traditional gray infrastructure to more natural-based solutions, was presented at the World Economic Forum, 2022. The objective of the Research Topic was to contribute to fill the gap in environmental inequalities studies by presenting empirical research that focuses on the Global South.
