Abstract
Crisis, scandal, catastrophe, immoral, etc., are words that have been used to describe the problem of the foreign medical graduate (FMG) in the United States. Such words are so shopworn these days that they have little or no impact on the reader. The problem is a serious one that demands both attention and substantive action in the immediate future.
