EDITORIAL: FROM A GENERAL APPROACH TO A SPECIFIC INITIATIVE

Highlights

• The Bahiana School of Medicine and Public Health has a mission to promote transparency and integrity of scientific publications. This mission has been the cornerstone of the Journals published by BAHIANA, as the Brazilian Journal of Medicine and Human Health (BJMHH) has been no exception

• We decided to start a new period focused on the specific field of evidencebased clinical practice, which is in line with our mission to input value on quality of research. This will be the last issue of the seminal BJMHH, which will give rise to the International Journal of Evidence-Based Healthcare (IJEBHc), to be launched in mid 2018

• We hope the legacy of the BJMHH will be reinforced over the years by its successor, the IJEBHc
