Abstract
Many journals are available today for publication of research material in industrial engineering and management. However, there is still a need to quickly disseminate research work related to all aspects of industrial engineering and industrial management (IEM) to the scientific community. Often, by the time research article gets published in the traditional peer-reviewed journals in the field of IEM, the articles are at least one to two years old because of lengthy review process of these journals. The industrial engineering and management journal (IJEM) serves this purpose of overcoming long delay between the submission and publication of scientific papers.
